Modified Bitumen is a tough, resilient membrane with a strong polyester mat core that is coated with either a flexible APP or SBS polymer modified asphalt. Modified Bitumen roofing is a Class A, UL Fire Resistant membrane that provides the maximum puncture, tear, and split resistance.
Modified Bitumen Roofs hold up well to regular roof maintenance and can be applied with hot asphalt, adhesive, or heat welding methods.
